GNAT Membership
Membership in GNAT may take three forms:
Individual membership: individuals who intend to actively participate in GNAT, and to use GNAT data for research or educational purposes. Individual members can be faculty, scientists, students, amateur astronomers or others with an interest in the GNAT data and mission. The base membership fee provides participation in GNAT Working Groups.
Special membership: a school, laboratory, museum or business which intends to actively participate in GNAT, and to use GNAT data for research or educational purposes. Typically a larger donor who wishes to negotiate for dedicated instruments, highly customized observing programs or extensive or
"independent" research programs using extant data.
Sustaining membership: institutions or individuals who support the GNAT goals, without the intention of becoming directly involved in GNAT programs.
